Quality is the primordial intention to any pharmaceutical industry and its products manufactured. The current interest in the pharmaceutical industry is to obtain best quality. Acquainted with a practice that puts us in common and routine convention ensured to deliver a quality that sounds globally in terms of a spoken quality is on the dais of pharmaceutical arena. Validation is the mean of catering enormous benefits to even more than the acceptable quality level which in the global standard scale. Validation is the art of designing and practicing the designed steps alongside with the documentation. Validation and quality assurance will go hand in hand, ensuring the through quality for the products. Process Validation emphasize on process design elements and maintaining process control during commercialization and communicate that process validation is an ongoing program and align process validation activities with product life cycle. Process validation also emphasizes the role of objective measures and statistical tools and analyses and emphasizes knowledge, detection, and control of variability and gives assurance on consistent of quality/productivity throughout life cycle of product additionally a view of validation against the quality assurance, drug development and manufacturing process has been discussed. Keywords

The aim of present study confirmed that the SEDDS formulation can be used as a possible alternate to traditional or classical formulations of Ibuprofen to improve its bioavailability using varied quantities of goat fat as an excipient and tween 60 as a surfactant which is a drug in the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) class used for treating pain, fever and inflammation which is also known to be isobutylphenylpropanoic acid. The investigation proved that the formulated dosage forms showed good release profile as well as acceptable tablet properties. The batches with higher tween60: goat fat content ratios gave better release rates. The SEDDS of Ibuprofen was successfully prepared and the tablets prepared passed the various evaluation tests conducted. This method has advantage of reliance on cheap raw materials such as goat fat with fewer processing steps, best suited for lipophilic drugs where the resulting emulsification gives faster dissolution rates and absorption. Invivo evaluation of this novel dosage form is currently in progress. Self-emulsifying drug delivery systems are a promising approach for the formulation of lipophilic drug compounds having poor aqueous solubility. The oral delivery of hydrophobic drugs can be made possible by SEDDSs which have been shown to improve oral bioavailability substantially. From the formulation point of view it is necessary to consider the emulsification properties of lipid base vehicle and the solubility of drug in the lipid surfactant mixture to form a completely miscible solution so as to solubilize adequate quantities of drug in lipid vehicle. Lipids have an important role in absorption process. Thus, SEDDS plays an important role in the formulation of poorly water soluble drugs and enhancing their bioavailability. Keywords

The present article is describes a brief overview of various types of acidifiers, antacids and cathartics. For organic acids to be increasingly used in livestock feedstuffs, there is a need for an improved form: one that is less corrosive, safe, effective and easy to use. These are used for the purpose of good health. Keywords

The development of radiotraces with defined affinities for specific receptor systems is a potentially useful approach to the design of radio pharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine. Radio labeled ligands, such as hormones and neurotransmitters, are being synthesized and evaluated as diagnostic tools for diseases which can be characterized either by changes in receptor concentration or by novel receptor expression. Since the utility of a radio pharmaceutical is dependent upon the achievement of adequate ratios of target to non-target accumulation of radio activity, design of radio traces via the receptor approach attempts to exploit those systems in which receptor is present in significantly higher concentration at potential target sites such as tumors. Receptormediated radio tracers are also currently being used in animal models to investigate the normal tissue distribution of drug and hormone receptors and the in-vivo pharmacokinetics of receptor binding. The successful development of receptor-avid radiopharmaceuticals will depend upon the ability to synthesize ligands of high specific radio activity which retain the high affinity and binding specifically for the receptor after radio labeling. Keywords

Pharmaceutical aids are the drugs and substances which have no or little pharmacological effect but they are essentially used in the preparation of pharmaceutical dosage form (like tablet, injection, emulsion, ointments etc). In this article we will be studying about the substances needed in the preparation, preservation and storage of pharmaceutical products and how are they classified into different categories and why are they necessary in preparation and does that help to the pharmacist? Keywords

The treatment of microbial infection is increasingly complicated by the ability of microbe to develop resistance to antimicrobial agents. Antimicrobial agents are often categorized according to their principle mechanism of action. Mechanism includes interference with cell wall synthesis, inhibition of protein synthesis, interference with nucleic acid synthesis and disruption of bacterial membrane structure. Keywords
